One of the things that can be intimidating about marketing today is also what is so exciting about it; the way to spread your message has exploded exponentially.

This 3/3/15 article in AdWeek, by Alfred Maskeroni shares how Getty and Fox teamed up to create stock photos that can be used for free in editorial. They are hilariously stereotypical, and oh such a great idea. I’m writing this blog post just so I can use them.
Think of it, this is yet another form of Content Marketing that we have been talking about. There is no mention of a sales pitch, “buy now,” or even what it’s for. But the picture itself makes an impression, it allowed a fun press release about the movie rather than “go see this movie,” and now here I am promoting the movie in a blog dedicated to marketing ideas.
