Pennsylvania to benefit local charities
Irvona, PA (May 16, 2024) – Melanie Henry, organizer and founder of Mel’s Car Shows is pleased to announce the schedule for 2024 that includes five car shows and three
cruise-ins from June 2nd through September 1, 2024. This year, the 12th season of Mel’s Car Shows, is expected to be the most successful season to date with participants from coast to coast.
Irvona Car Show

Melanie Henry, a resident of Madera and Ms. Motorama in 2022, was named by SEMA News Magazine as one of the industry’s rising leaders in 2023. As the founder of Mel’s Car Shows, she has to date raised well over $265,000 for charity and brought in hundreds of dollars in gifts-in-kind to support local non-profits.
Henry says, “I got my passion for cars from my Dad. I grew up going to shows with him in his 1959 Chevy El Camino. When I had to opportunity to hold a car show in 2012, I never dreamt it would turn into all of this. Now 47 shows in and raised over a quarter of a million dollars raised, I’m excited to keep growing and help more communities and organizations in need. My love of cars spread into my career. I work full-time for Martin & Company Advertising, a marketing firm that specializes in the performance automotive aftermarket, and I own several old cars that I love working on.”
