Show of Support for Businesses, Infrastructure and Residents Hardest Hit by Severe Flooding this past Saturday Morning
Whites Creek, TN (August 24, 2021)… Most everyone is now aware of the devastating effects of the unprecedented flooding in Humphreys County this past Saturday morning. The hardest hit was Waverly. Also severely affected were Dickson, Hickman and Hamilton Counties. 21 people are confirmed dead and 20 are still missing. A group of concerned Whites Creek citizens have planned a location to donate goods at Vintage Creek Boutique beginning today. They are located at 4409 Whites Creek Pike and are open Monday – Friday from 6:30 AM-6:00 PM. The donations will be transported by trailer within the next week.
The list of items most needed include Baby Wipes, Baby Diapers, Baby Formula, Baby Bottles/Caps, Baby Food, Non-perishable food items, Cleaning Supplies, Clothes of all sizes and Shoes and Socks, Hygiene Products, Bottled Water, Pre-Packaged Snacks, Trash Bags, Blankets, Dog Food, Paper Towels, Plastic Utensils, Disposable Plates, Gas Cards and Toilet Tissue.
