PURPOSE OF ROLE

This role is primarily responsible for working with the Digital Marketing Director (DMD) to manage content and advertising that is communicated on behalf of our clients. This has expanded to include both traditional PR, as well as digital and social networking communications, educational materials, event marketing and grassroots marketing where appropriate.

Includes working with clients and internal team to decide what messages will be communicated, setting up planning calendars, setting goals and metrics to measure success, making sure plans are executed, and following up with clients on success of the programs.

Work closely with the DMD to make sure there is continuity in timing and execution of messaging.

This role will also support the DMD in project managing website development and digital ad buys.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Help develop PR and Self-Publish Content strategy (written and video) in line with client objectives and their Social, Print and Digital ad strategies.

Research, write, edit and re-purpose press releases, social posts, whitepapers, blog posts and other marketing collateral.

Create PR, Content and Social calendars, monitor deadlines and execute strategies by due date.

Maintain relationships with editors, bloggers, and other market influencers and decision makers to enable speedy execution of PR requests.

Gather data and complete monthly and quarterly analytics reports for all digital clients. Support the DMD in coordination of our software licenses and agreements across third party digital support products

Support the DMD in website project management

Support team in creative brainstorming for client ads and videos.

Work closely with the Videographer to coordinate video execution, publishing and promotion.

Work closely with the President on Print media buys to coordinate PR and Content components.

Support the VP and President with special projects as assigned and overall project management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct B2B and B2C-focused copy.

Highly creative, well organized, self-motivated learner.

Ability to rework technical content that is audience appropriate; automotive aftermarket knowledge a must.

Understands the different language styles that appeal to various target markets in B2B and B2C.
