Oskaloosa, IA (June 27, 2013) – Kelderman Air Suspension Systems, along with others, has undergone a special project with Tonka to produce an adult Tonka truck, labeled Tonka T-Rex. Based off a 2012 Ford F-250 with a Powerstroke diesel, the truck has been painted in bright yellow with bold, black Tonka logos.
Kelderman Air Suspension Systems has left its mark on the Tonka T-Rex model, featuring an 8 to 10-inch fully adjustable 4-link air suspension system that has been powder coated “Tonka Yellow”. The life-size Tonka truck also features Fox 2.0 remote reservoir shocks, Tonka-branded billet aluminum shock clamps, an AccuAir air management system and powder-coated front and rear PML differential covers.
The F-250, showcasing components from major manufacturers such as Galpin Auto Sports, Fab Fours and Highway Products, will be touring the country as a marketing platform and charity fundraiser. The T-Rex will be participating in various family events, parades, holiday toy drives and off-road venues.
