Glendora, CA – (Oct. 30, 2012) – NHRA announced today that E3 Spark Plugs will become the official spark plug and official glow plug of NHRA beginning in 2013. As part of the multi-year agreement, E3 Spark Plugs will be designated as the “Official Spark Plug of NHRA” and E3 Glow Plugs the “Official Glow Plug of NHRA.”
E3 Spark Plugs has been involved for a number of years and have long seen the value of association with NHRA,” said said John Siragusa, senior director of sales and business development, NHRA. “We are excited to have E3 Spark Plugs increase their involvement in the sport by becoming an official sponsor.”
The official sponsorships will afford E3 the opportunity to incorporate the official logo in advertising, promotions, point-of-purchase materials and on packaging for each designated product. On site, E3 will enjoy presence at all NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events beginning in 2013 including signage, inflatables, and advertising through NHRA’s multimedia outlets, and commercial inventory in the ESPN2/ESPN2HD broadcasts.
“We at E3 are very excited to be the official spark plug and glow plug of NHRA. Our customers and the NHRA fan are all about power and performance, something we understand completely”, stated Todd Arey, President of E3 Spark Plugs. “We are committed to helping them achieve those goals, and it is with great enthusiasm that E3 Spark Plugs partners with the National Hot Rod Association, the clear global leader in championship drag racing.”
Backed by a five year, 100,000-mile warranty, E3 Spark Plugs, with it’s DiamondFIRE side-wire electrode, projects the combustion spark in a way that more quickly ignites the air/fuel mixture thereby creating a significantly faster and larger flame kernel. In effect, this burns more of the available fuel, resulting in increased combustion efficiency for improved power and fuel economy with reduced emissions. E3 Spark Plugs are now available for most automotive, small engine and powersports applications at automotive and home improvement retail stores nationwide. E3 Glow Plugs are being introduced at the SEMA show in Las Vegas this week. Formore information and complete test results, visit www.e3sparkplugs.com
