October 17, 2012 – We are happy to announce that the HammerHead Housing for 5th Generation Camaro will come standard with Pedders HD Bushings and will also offer the optional Delrin rear bushing for higher horsepower applications.
For over 60 years Pedders has been synonymous with suspension performance in Australia and the 5th Generation Chevrolet Camaro’s roots are firmly planted down under as the GM Zeta platform it rides on was developed in Australia for the Holden Commodore (imported to the US in 2008-2009 as the Pontiac G8).
Jeff Lee of HammerHead Housings explained, “Early on when developing the HammerHead, we met Peter Basica of Pedders USA through Witt Buick in Muskegon, Michigan as they were working together developing their Track and Justice suspension packages for both the G8 and Camaro on the GM Zeta platform as well as the Chrysler LX/LC platform. We quickly learned that Pedders was the leader in the modern muscle car suspension and have seen them prove that with their cars and through their partnerships with GM, Lingenfelter, Petty’s Garage, and Saleen. So using their bushings with the HammerHead housing was a no brainer.”
