Whites Creek, TN – (October 1st, 2012) The leaves are changing, there’s a chill in the breeze, and All Hallow’s Eve is soon approaching. Celebrate this blustery fall holiday with your family and friends at the first-ever “Hauntanel” Halloween weekend at the famous Fontanel Mansion in Whites Creek, TN. Hosted over the October 19-21 weekend from 6pm-11pm nightly, Hauntanel will welcome kids young and old to enjoy a two-mile old-fashioned hayride through the dusky “haunted woods” of the property while a costumed guide treats guests to scary tales of long ago with various spooks and scary things along the journey.
Tailored for families and younger children, this fun and friendly evening ride welcomes children – and you festive adults – to arrive “in costume” as well and participate in the fun. Upon arrival at the mansion, guests will trick or treat before heading back down for the 2nd part of the hayride. Other events will include a pumpkin patch, trick-or-treating, live music and a variety of fall foods and beverages. However, later that night at 8pm, the thrill-seekers are invited to the far scarier nighttime hayride for the older kids and adults.
If you miss one night, don’t despair! All three nights will be planned exactly the same, so you’ve got three chances to join the spooktacular fun! Tickets are $10, and can be purchased on site upon arrival.
