Whites Creek, TN (July 11, 2012) – With the classic car season in full swing, the historic Fontanel Mansion is very excited to announce its latest weekly tradition, the Concert Cruise-In at Fontanel. Soon to become a regular ritual for Middle Tennessee hot rodders, muscle car lovers, and enthusiasts of automobiles new and old, the Concert Cruise-In at Fontanel promises to offer more than any weekly cruise-in anywhere else.
The Concert Cruise-In at Fontanel will be held all summer long until this October. Starting each Monday at 5pm and running until 9pm that night, enthusiasts are welcome to bring their hot rods, customs, classic and late model muscle cars, and tuned imports to the Fontanel property to enjoy free live music being performed on the outdoor stage facing the massive Fontanel fairgrounds. The Concert Cruise-In at Fontanel will be free to all, whether you’re bringing your four-wheeled pride-and-joy or just coming to check ‘em out.
While enjoying the great music attendees are welcome to come by the outdoor beer garden for a cold drink and a burger, or pizza by the slice right beside Cafe Fontanella by Amico’s. The fine-dining Italian restaurant and wine bar is open to the Concert Cruise-In at Fontanel as well, offering traditional Italian-American dishes with a unique and fun twist featuring fresh seafood, beef, poultry, hand-made pasta, pizza, salads and more.
After a bite to eat, all are welcome to sign up for the Concert Cruise-In at Fontanel weekly newsletter which enters them into the bi-hourly raffle, in which participants could win prizes ranging from free food at Cafe Fontanella, Fontanel Mansion tours, T-shirts, and other fantastic swag provided by some of the automotive aftermarket industry’s most famous companies!
Commemorating the weekly cruise-in is a special one-of-a-kind event T-shirt designed by famed CARtoonist George Trosley. Trosleyhas been drawing hot rods, muscle cars and wild custom cars for over 30 years, and is recognized as one of the most famous contributing artists for CARtoons and Hot Rod magazines, and regularly draws for Car Craft each month. Featuring the historic Fontanel Mansion and some seriously cool classic cars, this T-shirt can be purchased by attendees of the Concert Cruise-In at Fontanel wanting to show off their favorite new hang out!
The Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame member Barbara Mandrell, and is Nashville’s only country music mansion tour, giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats. From its family friendly atmosphere, free activities like Frisbee golf and two miles of beautiful walking trails, Fontanel is truly the hidden gem of the South, and is located just minutes from downtown Nashville.
