Nashville, TN (May 4, 2009)… Nashville’s hottest new female country trio, Rodeo Pony, will be performing a showcase on Wednesday, May 13th at 12th & Porter beginning at 6:00 pm. Made up of decades-long friends Shauna Lee, Heather Loony and Paige Logan, this unique group features soulful harmonies over country music that swings, rocks, grooves and moves people of all ages. These ladies are smart, sexy, and sensitive with a rocking stage presence and tight harmonies that have left many industry professionals in awe. After seeing them live, one top level CMT executive dubbed them the female version of Rascal Flatts, who are radio ready!
In the short year they have been together as a band, they have competed on Nashville Star, been featured on an episode of John Rich’s hit CMT series Gone Country, included in a compilation CD for Oskar Blues, been featured on the cover of “Brentwood Life”, interviewed and performed live recently on WKDF, and appeared on the HGTV special for the River’s and Spire’s Festival this April in Clarksville, TN. Additionally they have performed with Marty Stuart, Jewel, Lari White and Big and Rich. John Rich in fact was quoted as saying, “Are you *#$+ing kidding?! I’m really proud of this act. They are a great, great vocal band.”
