MAHLE Motorsport Introduces Hyundai Theta L4 Turbo 2.0L PowerPak Pistons

MAHLE’s new piston assembly kit for the Theta L-4 Turbo engine provides 8.5:1 compression for 86mm standard bore with the stock rod and stroke. Designed as a power generating, race ready kit, the PowerPak comes complete with 1.2mm, 1.2mm, 2.8mm steel nitrated rings, 22mm (103g) high quality steel wrist pins and round wire locks.

These high expansion 2618 aluminum alloy pistons grant higher tolerances with additional support to extreme-duty racing. The pistons are hand-deburred and phosphate coated reducing micro-welding and pin galling, features a proprietary anti-friction GRAFAL® coating applied to the skirts, as well as forced pin oiling and radiused valve pockets for added performance.
