Whites Creek, TN – (November 11, 2014) Fontanel is pleased to announce their new label, Fontanel Records. Its inception was the brainchild of Krista Marie Oswald, member of the country music trio THE FARM, and wife of Fontanel co-owner Marc Oswald. “I spend a tremendous amount of time at Fontanel”, stated Krista, “and continue to be amazed by all the incredible talent that so many of the Fontanel employees have. Whether it be a tour guide in the mansion serenading guests with one of their tunes or a Mandrell classic, a singing waiter at Cafe’ Fontanella, a staff member featured on the Studio Gallery stage, someone finger picking on Prichard’s Distillery’s front porch, or even another tickling the ivories on one of the pianos all over the property, music is everywhere at Fontanel.”
Aspiring and talented musicians move to Nashville with high hopes and dreams of one day becoming a success, and that is not so different for a number of the employees at Fontanel. So an idea was born. “Marc and his longtime partner Dale Morris continue to be impressed by the quality and uniqueness of the talent at Fontanel,” continued Krista. “Everyone here is family, and we thought, what can we do to show our support and let them know how much we truly appreciate them?” Then the idea hit. Start a record label that is THEIRS! From that idea, Fontanel Records was founded. “We purchased the .com immediately,” said Krista, “set up a website and began recording our debut album! What had begun as a simple “thank you” to the staff, turned into a magical project, filled with heart & soul, pride & love. Listening to each track on the Fontanel Family Christmas album, you feel each individual’s passion and dedication – and this is only the beginning. There is no telling what will come out of this employee driven label; the creativity and drive is unparalleled, and there are no boundaries.”
“Krista immediately decided to take on the role of producer and we both were excited to empower 20 of our hard working, loyal employees to record their favorite Christmas songs on the record label’s debut album, Fontanel Family Christmas”, stated Marc Oswald. “I’m looking forward to what will follow as they begin work on the next project. As you’ve most likely heard, at Fontanel, music is always in the air.”
CDs can be purchased at The Fontanel Gift Shop, 4125 Whites Creek Pike, Nashville,TN 37189, or online at www.fontanelrecords.com . For more information contact Jennifer Young firstname.lastname@example.org

Earline Morris Surprised at VIP Preview Party With Presentation and Dedication of “Mama” Earline’s Garden – an All White Variety of Perennials in the Lush Garden Back Dropped by Porter’s Pond (In Memory of Porter Wagoner)
The House, Built on Barbara Mandrell’s Former Estate Opened for Tours June 29 and Will Continue through December When it Becomes a Luxury Boutique Hotel
Nashville, TN – Dale Morris is no stranger to the stage and the spotlight as manager and mentor for some of the greatest names in the music business including Alabama, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Jake Owen and many others. His wife Earline has always been his rock of support from behind the scenes. But all that changed on June 26 during the gala VIP preview party unveiling the 2013 Southern Living Idea House at Fontanel.
As co owners of Fontanel, Dale Morris and business partner Marc Oswald spend a lot of time together with their wives as personal friends and in social settings. Marc’s wife Krista Marie envisioned the idea of planting an all white perennial garden, (Earline’s favorite) in her honor at the Idea House. “Earline is an avid gardener and one of the most unpretentious individuals I have ever met, with the warmest of hearts, possessing great strength and class beyond words,” stated Krista Marie. “I knew it would mean something really special to her to have her own little garden spot on the property for everyone to enjoy now and for years to come.”
And so the three of them planned and orchestrated a surprise presentation and dedication service to commemorate “Mama” Earline’s Garden. With great stealth during the gala event, they took the stage and invited Earline to join them. When they presented her with a lush pot of stunning white hydrangeas, she was pleased, and when they explained she was to add them to the garden planted in her honor she was overjoyed. An engraved bronze plaque flanks the corner of the garden and reads: “Mama” Earline’s Garden Dedicated June 26, 2013. 2013 Southern Living Idea House
“I can say with great affection that Earline, my wife of 56 years has truly been the wind beneath my wings all these years.” said Dale Morris. “To see her in the spotlight is so gratifying. Now and forever, there will be a place that honors who she is & what her love of nature is all about when people enjoy this beautiful garden spot at the 2013 Southern Living Idea House.”
“Mama” Earline’s Garden is located in the divine sitting area beside the Idea House’s southernmost detached Bunkie with a stunning view of Porter’s Pond and it’s flowing fountain as a backdrop.

Nashville, TN – (November 16th, 2012) It is with tremendous enthusiasm that Fontanel announces their partnership with Prichard’s Distillery, makers of hand crafted spirits distributed in 48 states and eight European countries. Their second Tennessee distillery will open on the 136 acre Fontanel property in the spring of next year. Five generations ago in 1822, Grandaddy Benjamin Prichard of Davidson County, TN left his still, tubs, utensils and techniques of the craft to his son Enoch. Suffice it to say that long before they became a “legal” distiller, the Prichard family was known to make the best whiskey in the area. 15 years ago, descendent Phil Prichard opened Prichard’s Distillery in Kelso, TN, restoring a lost art form and producing some of the finest tasting rums and Tennessee whiskey in America.
“The unique character of Prichard’s spirits can be directly attributed to its production in small batches using classic copper pot still techniques and rigid quality control standards”, stated Prichard. “By comparison, today’s modern distilleries use continuous run, column stills, spewing out millions of gallons of whiskey almost daily, removing flavor and invading the American palate. These whiskies bear little similarity to the hand crafted pot distilled whiskies of ages past.”
“I fully understood upon sampling Prichard’s fine line of distilled spirits why they have received so many awards, published reviews and even accolades from their competitors,” stated Marc Oswald, co-owner of Fontanel. “We have long wanted to partner with a craft distillery here at Fontanel, and until meeting the Prichard team, just could not find partners who would fit in with our historical area. We are beyond delighted with what the future holds for our two companies and the co-promotional opportunities the partnership represents.”

Whites Creek, TN – (November 13th, 2012) With the conclusion of Fall and the transition into Winter, The Fontanel Mansion and Property has concluded their festive pumpkin patch situation just outside of Cafe Fontanella and The Farm House art gallery. Fontanel was very proud to host the holiday pumpkin patch as the sale of each and every benefited Monroe Harding children’s home, a non-profit organization providing needing children with much more than just the basic essentials, but a positive atmosphere of learning, mentoring and safety.
According to the Monroe Harding website, “For over 100 years, Monroe Harding has had a singular mission: changing young people’s lives by providing food, clothing and shelter. But young people, especially those in state custody or foster care, need more than that. So Monroe Harding serves every need. We provide foster homes, group living, mentoring, relationship-building skills, safety and structure, encouragement, spiritual formation, life skills training, education, job placement, and more. This gives every young person the opportunity to live a whole, happy and independent life.”
Now, in another gesture of charity and holiday-appropriate thanksgiving, Fontanel will be donating the remaining pumpkins to The Elephant Sanctuary in nearby Howenwald, TN. The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee was founded in 1995, and continues as the nation’s largest natural habitat refuge developed specifically for endangered African and Asian elephants. The expansive Sanctuary resides on 2,700 acres in Hohenwald, Tennessee – 85 miles southwest of Nashville.
